About Zenport
Under the mission “Be the common language for the global supply chain”, Zenport (https://zenport.io/en) is a startup building an enterprise SaaS for global supply chain management (“SCM”), where a variety of stakeholders keep collaborating across borders and functions even amid the on-going, historical SCM disruptions.
The product visualizes insights into clients’ SCM process to support making decisions, offering a highly flexible, automated data integration across stakeholders, backed with the patented concept of a simplified and standardized data schema.
Currently, Zenport is acquiring an increasing number of new leads from the alliance with powerhouses. On this course, we are looking for senior front-end engineers to accelerate product development.
Our team is international, currently having members from 7 regions across the globe. We don’t require any Japanese ability for the engineering position.
About the position
As a vital member of the back-end engineering team, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of multiple back-end services and their underlying infrastructures.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing a robust and scalable API, ensuring high reliability and performance. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing and optimizing the existing platform architecture. This position presents an exciting opportunity to address complex challenges related to scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
We prioritize innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, making this role ideal for professionals aiming to deepen their expertise in back-end engineering and DevOps while making meaningful contributions to impactful projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and operating web applications written in Python
- 3+ years of experience with ETL pipeline
- Be able to understand and simplify complex business requirements
- Fluent in English * Japanese language is not required
- Able to relocate to Tokyo, Japan or 5 hours overlay with JST timezone 9:30 ~ 18:30
Nice to haves
- Hands-on experience with Pandas to process large datasets.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience using either GCP or AWS.
- Experience with using Airflow to orchestrate and schedule multiple pipelines.
- Experience with using a GraphQL API.
- Experience in using and maintaining a CI/CD using Github Actions.
- Knowledge of Kanji

Qualifications
- 1+ Hands-on experience in Golang
- 3+ years of working experience in back-end
- 1+ years of working experience with microservices
- Familiar with Git and Docker
- Multi-Language developing ability
- Good understanding of Database and Network
- Fluent in English (No requirement in Japanese language)
- Able to relocate to Tokyo (Visa sponsorship is provided)
